Doug Phillips and Mike Minor - Mercury Master Technicians!
Doug Phillips and Mike Minor, of Prince William Marina, have been selected by Mercury Marine to receive its prestigious Master Technician Award for MerCruiser sterndrives. Both Mike and Doug achieved this honor by successfully completing Mercury Marine's extensive factory technical training curriculum, as well as maintaining the highest standards for work performance and delivery of outstanding customer service. To be eligible for the Mercury Master Technician Award, an individual must have satisfactorily completed a minimum of six years of technical service in the marine industry, four of which must have included status as a Certified Technician for the aforementioned product line. Candidates are evaluated on the basis of a written examination, their training record, technical competence, and exemplary customer service. Congratulations to Doug and Mike!
